The Honours Biology Research Specialization enables students to select Biology courses aligned with their personal interests while offering greater laboratory and research opportunities compared to the Honours Biology Core program. Students in this specialization gain hands-on experience in experimental methodology through a minimum of 9 units of lab and field biology coursework, along with either a 6-unit senior project or 12-unit senior thesis in their fourth year. Admission to this competitive program is restricted, and meeting the stated minimum criteria does not ensure acceptance.
