Key features include: a selective admission policy ensuring intimate class sizes under 20 students, specialized Pharmacology courses within Biology and Health Sciences curricula that delve into human pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacogenetics - examining drug-body interactions, a hands-on lab course, a comprehensive research thesis, and three paid co-op work terms in various sectors including industry, academia, or government, available locally in Hamilton or internationally.
This program arms students with diverse competencies and practical exposure, thoroughly preparing them for advanced studies in fields like medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, or for direct entry into industry and government positions.
