The Department provides diverse national and thematic courses that explore key relationships between countries and major social issues. As historians, we must deepen our understanding of how change operates and strive to interpret it whenever feasible. By enrolling in McMaster's History program, you'll cultivate vital research and analytical abilities. You'll master critical thinking, learn to pose insightful questions, and effectively organize evidence to support your conclusions.
Entry requirements may vary from country to country. Students are required to complete Grade 12 high school diploma equivalent to Canadian qualification.
Completion of any Level I program and a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 including a grade of at least C in three units of Level I History.
