This professional development certificate program, offered without academic credit, is tailored for recently elected Members of Parliament. It covers essential aspects of parliamentary governance, providing insights into the three branches of government, various international parliamentary systems, key parliamentary duties (lawmaking, supervision, and constituent representation), interactions between the executive and legislative branches, an MP's responsibilities, and current challenges in parliamentary governance. Merging academic concepts with practical applications, the program employs a hybrid learning approach that allows participants to customize their educational experience according to their unique parliamentary roles.
