The Bachelor of Arts and Science programs blend Arts and Science disciplines with approximately equal course distribution between both faculties. This interdisciplinary degree is designed for students aiming to combine studies from the Faculty of Arts with those from the Faculty of Science, or to pursue a joint program spanning both fields. For certain subjects like Sustainability or Cognitive Science, this dual focus is intrinsic to the field. Alternatively, students can create their own interdisciplinary combination by equally pairing an Arts subject with a Science discipline—such as Anthropology with Physical Geography, or Philosophy with Mathematics. The B.A. & Sc. degree's primary goal is to deliver a comprehensive education encompassing both faculties, equipping students with diverse knowledge, proficiency in varied scholarly approaches, enhanced intellectual adaptability, and the ability to synthesize concepts across different fields.
