Aspiring Early Childhood Educator IIs (ECE IIs) will gain the necessary expertise to care for children from infancy to age 12 through this government-recognized, thorough diploma course.
Through collaborative learning with instructors and peers, participants enhance their knowledge of childhood growth, behavior management strategies, and activity-based learning approaches encompassing creative arts, musical activities, storytelling, and scientific exploration. They'll learn to design and deliver engaging, developmentally suitable programs that celebrate cultural diversity and inclusion.
Practical training placements integrated into the curriculum enable learners to practice their skills in diverse childcare environments (including preschools, kindergartens, early intervention programs, and family support centers), refining their abilities with young learners. Additionally, MITT's career preparation workshops equip students with crucial job-seeking and workplace competencies for a smooth shift from education to employment.
High school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent. International applicants must meet the general entrance requirements based on country/curriculum of study. Applicants must also meet the program-specific requirements, including:
