Earn a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Physical and Health Education while completing prerequisite courses for the Professional Year (5th year). Complete your studies one year faster than traditional consecutive teaching programs.
Select from two specialized tracks: primary/junior (JK to grade 6) or junior/intermediate (grades 4-10). Complete required subject credits to qualify for teaching at intermediate and senior levels.
Students receive dedicated support from an undergraduate advisor and program director for academic guidance and career planning in education.
Acquire practical teaching experience through three undergraduate field placements, followed by an intensive "six-week Initial Placement" right after graduating in your fourth year. Placement opportunities extend to schools and community organizations including Frontier College, YMCA, Better Beginnings Better Futures, Best Start Hubs, and the Learning Disabilities Association of Sudbury.
