Langara College's two-year Criminology Diploma offers students a comprehensive liberal arts education focusing on social sciences, criminal justice, and legal studies. The curriculum teaches scientific research techniques along with legal, philosophical, and theoretical frameworks to analyze criminal behavior, societal issues, and institutional responses. Through transferable core courses and electives, students cultivate analytical skills while exploring key concepts, discussions, and controversies within Criminology.

This program primarily serves students aiming to pursue a Bachelor's in Criminology (for university transfer) and those planning careers in criminal justice or advanced studies in graduate or law programs. Flexible scheduling allows for full-time or part-time enrollment, with admission available in both Fall (September) and Spring (January) semesters. While most courses run during Fall and Spring terms, Summer course options are more limited.
