The Lambton College Agri-Business Management Graduate Certificate program prepares students for supervisory roles in agriculture or management positions within agri-business settings like sales and agricultural services. This interdisciplinary program builds on students' prior education or experience, equipping them with diverse skills for running and overseeing agricultural operations. Participants establish core business competencies in communication, accounting, personnel management, relationship building, and marketing tailored to Canada's contemporary agricultural sector. As farming technology advances rapidly, the program examines how these innovations affect both farm operations and broader applications, from digital tools to agricultural equipment. The curriculum also covers environmental farm management, offering insights into producing food, animal feed, and biofuels, along with livestock health, pest management, and cutting-edge agri-tech developments. A practical farm machinery component provides hands-on experience with agricultural equipment operation and safety protocols.
