The two-year Business - Accounting program equips students for diverse entry-level accounting roles across merchandising, manufacturing, public accounting firms, financial institutions, and nonprofit sectors. Graduates often secure positions as accounts payable/receivable specialists, payroll coordinators, junior financial analysts or auditors, tax specialists, or small business accountants. The curriculum provides comprehensive business training combined with essential accounting and finance fundamentals. Course offerings encompass accounting principles, managerial accounting, taxation, and computerized accounting systems, delivered by Lambton's faculty of Chartered Professional Accountants with extensive industry expertise. With flexible options, students can seamlessly transition into the three-year Business Administration - Accounting program at any stage. Following Term 1, participants may advance directly into Term 2 of either the two-year Business or three-year Business Administration programs.
