Step outside traditional classrooms and immerse yourself in nature's classroom. Your journey focuses on the diverse wildlife inhabiting our woodlands, waterways, grasslands, and marshlands.

You'll master identifying organisms - from microscopic pond dwellers to massive land mammals - through visual sightings, auditory cues, and physical traces. This includes learning how to:

operate viewing equipment and motion-activated cameras
distinguish between various bird species and amphibians by their unique vocalizations
recognize animal presence through footprints, droppings, dwellings, and feeding marks
Beyond theory, you'll gain hands-on experience with techniques like electrofishing, GPS navigation, and humane animal capture methods.

You'll obtain valuable outdoor certifications including wilderness medical training, bear safety, and small vessel operation.

Classroom studies will cover:

biological and ecological principles of flora and fauna
protection strategies for endangered species
wildlife sanctuary management and habitat restoration
sustainable hunting practices
animal health and pathology
Upon completion, you'll qualify as a certified wildlife and fisheries specialist.
