The Master of Nursing (MN) degree is a graduate-level program combining academic coursework with clinical training. Designed for aspiring Advanced Practice nurses, the Advanced Nursing Specialization track focuses on serving diverse communities. This program appeals to those seeking careers in nursing education, research, leadership, or policy development. Instruction for the Advanced Nursing Specialization occurs in real-time through online video and teleconferencing platforms. Participants will undertake an Advanced Nursing Practicum (NURS 5805), involving collaboration between the student, instructor, and clinical supervisor. Each student receives one practicum assignment tailored to their professional interests and location, with placements arranged by the program rather than students themselves.
