As a student in our Kinesiology School, you'll delve into the scientific study of human movement and physical activity, examining their connections to health, wellness, and athletic performance. Our interdisciplinary Kinesiology curriculum investigates bodily motion through various lenses including: Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, Workplace Design, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Motor Skill Development, Nutritional Science, Adapted Physical Activity, and Health/Fitness principles.
You'll also explore the psychological, social, and cultural aspects affecting physical activity participation across diverse groups. This comprehensive approach equips you to collaborate effectively within healthcare teams, delivering optimal care in various clinical environments. Combining theoretical coursework with practical training, our program gives you the skills to evaluate movement patterns throughout all life stages. For those pursuing professional certification, our well-rounded curriculum thoroughly prepares you for the licensing examination required to practice as a Registered Kinesiologist in Ontario.

Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD),
or Completion of Grade 12 and the Secondary School Diploma,
A minimum of 6 Grade 12U or M courses, or equivalent, including program specific prerequisite courses,

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme applicants who achieve their diploma with a total score of at least 24 may be eligible for admission. Three Higher Level subjects must be completed. Prerequisite courses can be presented at either Standard Level or Higher Level. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Some of our competitive programs may require a total score greater than 24.
