Environmental studies now incorporate diverse fields, blending socio-economic, cultural, and political factors with scientific research. Our Environmental Studies curriculum equips you with the knowledge to assess ecological concerns and remedies from various viewpoints. You'll develop essential business acumen, scientific proficiency, and hands-on training to address contemporary environmental and sustainability problems.
The program features shared foundational courses alongside specialized tracks in three fields: Biology, Earth Science, or Geography. Every pathway integrates both scientific and humanities coursework, guaranteeing comprehensive preparation for today's ecological dilemmas.
Geography majors can pursue either an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies or an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Science, based on their preference for science or social science electives. Those focusing on Geography or Biology may pair their Environmental Studies degree with a Concurrent Education program to qualify for Intermediate/Senior level teaching positions.
