Environmental studies is evolving into a highly interdisciplinary field, incorporating socio-economic, cultural, and political factors alongside scientific research. Our Environmental Studies curriculum equips students with comprehensive knowledge to assess environmental problems and solutions through diverse lenses. You'll develop essential business acumen, scientific proficiency, and hands-on experience to address contemporary environmental and sustainability issues.
The Environmental Studies offerings feature shared foundational courses alongside specialized tracks in three key areas: Biology, Earth Science, and Geography.
Every program integrates both scientific and social science/humanities elements to provide balanced preparation for today's environmental concerns.
Geography majors can pursue either an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies or an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Science, with the degree distinction based on your chosen focus between science or social science electives.
