The Faculty of Natural Resources Management offers an Environmental Management program that equips students with comprehensive knowledge of ecological systems and natural processes, particularly focusing on forest ecosystems while providing hands-on training with professional geomatics tools. For the initial two years, this Honours Bachelor of Environmental Management follows the same coursework as the Honours Bachelor of Science in Forestry. Students can specialize in Fish and Wildlife Conservation and Management, Conservation Planning and Management, or Sustainable Land Use. Choosing the Wildlife Conservation and Management specialization makes graduates eligible for certification as Wildlife Biologists through the Wildlife Society of America.
