Engineering encompasses a wide range of specialties centered on creating and sustaining technological and industrial solutions. The Faculty of Engineering seeks students with innovative thinking and curiosity to tackle complex challenges spanning environmental, mathematical, ethical, and scientific domains.
Our distinguished professors are industry pioneers, with many conducting groundbreaking research on campus. Engineering students collaborate directly with faculty on coursework and research initiatives. We deliver dynamic, practical learning experiences that empower graduates to transform the engineering field. As Canada's sole institution offering a combined Bachelor of Engineering and Technology Diploma in four years, we also provide a unique College Transfer pathway for Engineering Technology graduates to complete their degree in just two additional years. All programs feature optional co-op placements for hands-on, compensated industry experience.
Engineering students can additionally pursue a co-operative internship, accumulating 16+ months of paid professional work while extending their degree by one year compared to the standard program timeline.

Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD),
or Completion of Grade 12 and the Secondary School Diploma,
A minimum of 6 Grade 12U or M courses, or equivalent, including program specific prerequisite courses,
A minimum 70%* overall final average
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme applicants who achieve their diploma with a total score of at least 24 may be eligible for admission. Three Higher Level subjects must be completed. Prerequisite courses can be presented at either Standard Level or Higher Level. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Some of our competitive programs may require a total score greater than 24.
