Our curriculum offers diverse methodologies for historical inquiry and equips you with critical tools to examine any subject through a historical lens. You'll investigate themes spanning North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and South Asia, including: Indigenous Studies, Digital Archives, Ecological History, Gender Studies, Global Development, Governmental History, Healthcare History, War Studies, and Cultural Evolution.
You can pair your History degree with programs in English, French, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Gender Studies, Nature-Based Education, or Teacher Education. Pursuing a double major enables you to connect historical understanding to specific disciplines and concentrate your academic path from the start. Additional certificate programs are offered. Students may also opt for focused tracks in Community History or Conflict Studies within their History degree.
