The Accounting Diploma program equips graduates for introductory accounting roles in the workforce or provides a foundation for further education in KPU's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with an Accounting focus.
This diploma curriculum covers essential subjects like financial and management accounting, finance, tax principles, and audit practices. Students will additionally study economics, business mathematics, statistical analysis, Simply Accounting software, data management, and communication skills. The program's structure directly corresponds with the CPA certification prerequisites.
You have graduated high school (secondary school) OR completed 24+ credits of undergraduate-level credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
English Proficiency Requirements
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Test: overall band of 6.5 or higher, with a minimum 6.0 in each band, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): IBT 88 or higher, with no sub score less than 20, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): Score of 70 or higher with no sub score less than 60, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Pearson Test of English (PTE): Score of 61 or higher, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Language Proficiency Index (LPI): Level 5 with an essay score of 30 or higher, taken within the last two years from the term of admission.
