The Social and Political Thought (SPT) program offers an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing pressing global issues through multiple critical lenses. Participants investigate the underlying, frequently overlooked frameworks that mold modern civilization. The curriculum explores how individual identity and interpersonal relationships are influenced by systems of authority across social, legal, political, economic, military, and psychological domains. These power structures not only establish societal frameworks but also generate tensions, hostilities, and disputes. SPT's cross-disciplinary nature provides scholars with distinctive insights into how human aspirations and conceptual frameworks influence self-perception, perspectives on others, and the construction of our collective reality.
