Students have the option to pursue a Minor, Major, or a four-year Honours Specialization in Economics, along with a distinctive Finance Major offered exclusively at King's. Those who opt for the Honours Specialization in Economics often advance to graduate studies with notable achievements.

During their first year, economics and finance students gain a comprehensive liberal arts education that lays the groundwork for advanced studies. The second year focuses on building a strong foundation in economic and statistical principles while offering various elective choices. Qualification Requirements

For Ontario high school students a minimum 80% final entrance average is required. Averages are calculated on the top six 4U or 4M credits including English 4U.

English language requirements:

IELTS Academic is required with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0.

TOEFL score of 580 or higher and a score of 4.5 on the TWE or a score of 85-90 on Internet Based Test (IBT) with no section less than 20.

C.A.E.L. (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) - A minimum score of 60 is required with no part less than 60.

(PTE Academic) - A minimum overall score of 58 is required with no score less than 56.

DUOLINGO A minimum score of 115 overall with a minimum of 100 for each subscore.

Cambridge C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: A minimum overall score of 176, with a minimum of 169 in each section.
