Huron University's Master of Divinity program is a three-year professional degree designed to equip students for ordained ministry and broader religious leadership roles across various contexts, including churches, parishes, chaplaincy, and related fields like law and medicine. While rooted in Anglican tradition, the program warmly embraces students from all Christian denominations. This post-baccalaureate MDiv program spans three years and prepares graduates for both ordination and service within church and parachurch organizations.
Students can pursue the degree either full-time or part-time, with a maximum completion timeframe of six years.
The degree is awarded by Western University and holds accreditation from the Association of Theological Schools.
Recognized by the Anglican Church of Canada's General Synod for ordination training, the program also welcomes students from diverse denominational backgrounds.
At Huron, MDiv candidates participate in diverse formative experiences as they prepare for ministry. The shared commitment among all participants is to deepen their faith, serve others, pursue intellectual growth, and nurture spiritual development.
