Delving into power's diverse manifestations in society, Huron's political science program examines major political concepts and ideologies, world-changing movements fueled by political visions, the inner workings of political institutions, and governmental structures. Our Political Science curriculum acknowledges that contemporary pressing public issues demand innovative ethical leadership approaches integrating social equity and participatory governance. The Honors Specialization and Major tracks in Political Science equip students with comprehensive knowledge across all core disciplinary areas. The Political Science Major provides a solid general understanding of the field, while the Honors Specialization allows students to tailor their studies through elective course selections within the program. Both pathways prepare graduates for admission to Political Science graduate programs worldwide.
