Humber's Information Technology Solutions graduate certificate equips students from non-IT backgrounds to enter the technology field. The initial semester covers foundational concepts in software development, databases, and web design. As students progress, they can choose from various electives to gain hands-on experience in specialized areas such as database management, business intelligence, big data, analytics, machine learning, and application development for both web and mobile platforms. The culminating semester features an industry-sponsored project where students refine their technical abilities while developing teamwork, communication, and project coordination skills.
Students also benefit from portfolio exhibitions and career preparation workshops, providing opportunities to present their capstone projects to potential employers and learn effective job search strategies in today's competitive technology sector.
