Humber's Cloud Computing Ontario Graduate Certificate equips you with the expertise, competencies, and methodologies to play a vital role in cloud development and deployment across diverse industries. Through a case-based learning approach, students tackle real-world business problems to gain hands-on experience in containerization, virtualization, data management, security protocols, and automation processes.
The first semester features six courses that establish core cloud computing fundamentals, accommodating students from various academic and professional backgrounds. The subsequent semester delves into specialized subjects including cloud architecture design, cybersecurity in cloud environments, automation systems, big data solutions, and DevOps practices for cloud platforms.
Graduates will emerge with proven capabilities to employ cloud computing theories, frameworks, and technical approaches when creating and deploying enterprise-grade applications on virtual platforms with optimized efficiency, robust security, and reliable infrastructure.
Working IT professionals can enhance their cloud computing skills through evening online courses, though this flexible learning option is exclusively available to domestic students.
To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:
A bachelor’s degree, advanced diploma, diploma or equivalent, in Information Technology
English Proficiency Requirements
CAEL Online or In-Person: Overall band score of 70; Cambridge English Tests Minimum FCE/CAE/CPE Score -> Minimum B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency Score: C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency 176 (with no single subscore below 169); Duolingo Language Test+: 125 and above; IELTS Academic Level: Overall 6.5 AND No band below 6.0; MET: 62; PTE: 61 – 64; TOEFL Academic Level: 580 for paper-based test OR 88 (22L, 22W, 22S, 22R) for internet-based test
