Become a certified installer of renewable technologies and energy auditor. Gain expertise in energy production, storage, distribution, and consumption while mastering sustainable construction techniques for insulation, HVAC, electrical systems, and beyond. The curriculum covers residential/commercial energy assessment, building science, solar PV technology, and bioenergy systems to provide comprehensive theoretical and hands-on training.

Students will analyze and maintain the solar arrays, geothermal systems, and smart building technologies in Holland College's CAST facility, recognized as one of the continent's most energy-efficient structures.

This program provides direct pathways to professional certifications. Beyond strong employment prospects, graduates can fast-track their Certified Energy Manager credential through the Association of Engineers by completing supplemental training and passing the EMIT examination.
