Aircraft turbine mechanics examine airplane engines, diagnose problems in mechanical systems, and adjust, fix, and evaluate turbine engines. This program teaches the methods, processes, and record-keeping standards required for careers in this expanding field. Training begins with the Pratt & Whitney PT6A-20 turboprop engine. Based on your workshop advancement, you might also receive instruction on either the Pratt & Whitney PW100 turboprop or the Rolls Royce 250 turboshaft engine, or potentially both.
