This program equips students with the essential expertise and technical abilities needed to excel in healthcare administration. The curriculum covers medical documentation, healthcare terminology, transcription, anatomy studies, professional ethics, and enhances interpersonal communication and patient interaction skills. Participants also gain proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and receive foundational training in health information management. Eligible students can participate in an immersive fourth-semester practicum at local healthcare facilities. Program alumni pursue careers in physicians' offices, nursing homes, and hospital settings, along with positions in pharmaceutical companies, government health agencies, corporate medical departments, clinical environments, and complementary medicine fields including naturopathy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and shiatsu, as well as various other healthcare and administrative roles.
