The Deafblind and Intervenor Studies program equips you to assist people with dual sensory impairments of vision and hearing. This blended program combines online learning with face-to-face instruction. The one-year certificate program (C158) trains you to assist Deafblind individuals, helping them better engage with their surroundings and access information.

If you're compassionate, enjoy working in a fast-changing field, and possess strong communication and creative skills, a career as a Deafblind intervenor might be right for you. Instruction occurs through a mix of online and in-person classes across both semesters. You'll also obtain hands-on experience by working directly with Deafblind individuals.
