Our School features Canada's exclusive college program for Drilling training, and stands as the sole global program covering such diverse drilling specialties. With drilling expertise needed across multiple industries, this program unlocks vast career possibilities, access to numerous employers, and the flexibility to select your preferred drilling specialization. Our graduates are highly sought after. Annual on-campus job fairs attract national and international recruiters, with many students securing employment before graduation. September entrants can apply for an optional paid co-op, with applications due by late November. Applicants must submit a completed Application Form (with resume) to the Co-op Office and maintain a 70% (2.5 GPA) average while passing all Semester 1 courses to qualify. Accepted students will complete a Career Preparation course and undertake their co-op between semesters 2 and 3. The Co-op Option enables participants to: Combine academic knowledge with practical work experience. Discover various career paths within the industry. Build professional connections for future employment.
After your initial semester, you'll delve into specialized drilling instruction. As noted, the majority of your time will involve hands-on learning in labs and field classes, applying your knowledge while honing your abilities. You'll also participate in practical assignments at local quarries and industry-related projects.
