The one-year post-graduate Technical Systems Analysis co-op program equips you with essential skills to become the IT specialist who bridges organizational needs, capturing business data requirements and converting them into practical system design specifications for successful IT implementation.
As a Technical Systems Analyst, you'll serve a vital function in enabling software system development for data collection. You'll collaborate with clients and colleagues to identify application issues, then assess methods and workflows to devise solutions—whether by establishing specifications or creating new systems.
This one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program delivers comprehensive IT fundamentals enhanced by key competencies including:
application software creation;
business data evaluation and modeling;
client interaction and communication strategies;
workflow optimization and enterprise resource coordination.
The program also incorporates hands-on business analysis experience for IT through practical learning methods like case studies and industry-related projects. Students must have, Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent preferably in Information Technology
