This one-year postgraduate program is tailored for university and college graduates pursuing careers in project management. You'll develop comprehensive expertise, capabilities, skills, methodologies, and strategies needed to successfully plan and deliver projects that meet organizational objectives within deadlines and budgets. The curriculum incorporates cutting-edge industry developments through specialized courses in agile methodologies, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and leadership.
The Project Management program is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate. The Project Management Institute's (PMI) foundational knowledge framework forms a core component of the coursework. After finishing the first semester, you'll qualify for PMI's Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential, an introductory-level certification. Additionally, the program prepares you to work toward PMI's prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) designation once you've accumulated the required professional experience.
A Two- or Three-Year College Diploma, or a Degree
(Note: minimum 'C+' average or cumulative 2.5 GPA)
OR
Acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education as judged by the College
OR
Five years of work experience in the project management field as judged by the College to be equivalent.
