This two-year operations and supply chain co-op diploma prepares students for careers in both private and public sector organizations. The program combines business theory with practical application through a paid co-op work term, giving students real-world experience. Participants will explore procurement strategies, logistics solutions, inventory management systems, retail operations, data analysis, and negotiation tactics. Program Outcomes Graduates will demonstrate competency in: Analyzing how supply chain functions align with organizational goals and stakeholder needs to guide decisions and problem-solving; Applying accounting principles and financial analysis to supply chain operations; Recognizing regulatory compliance factors affecting supply chain activities; Implementing risk management approaches for supply chain operations; Facilitating procurement and sales processes following industry standards across multiple sectors; Assisting with materials planning, resource allocation, and inventory control for optimal production and customer service; Overseeing the efficient flow of goods, services, and information through supply networks; Identifying opportunities for process improvements within supply chain systems; Leveraging technology to optimize supply chain workflows and communications; Tracking industry trends, technological advancements, and global economic factors to inform business decisions; Adhering to workplace safety protocols and professional ethical standards; Working effectively with diverse stakeholders to support supply chain operations; Engaging in professional development activities to enhance career growth. Co-op Experience Past students have secured positions including: - Procurement Support Specialists - Logistics Trainees - Production Planning Assistants - Inventory Management Associates - Distribution Operations Staff - Materials Control Assistants Employers have included major corporations like 3M, Walmart, Magna International, and government agencies such as the RCMP and City of London.
