This cooperative business education program offers hands-on experience in accounting, finance, marketing, HR, operations, supply chain management, and small business operations. You'll learn alongside peers and connect with expert instructors while developing leadership skills applicable to small businesses, corporate environments, nonprofit organizations, and entry-level management roles. The program includes paid co-op work terms to build practical business competencies.
Ideal for those passionate about diverse business fields, this co-op initiative lets you examine ethical and sustainable practices while focusing on your specific interests. You'll gain knowledge applicable to management careers in both large corporations and family-run enterprises.
Participants can also work toward earning credits for the Certified in Management (CIM) designation from the Canadian Institute of Management.
The Business Co-op program combines academic learning with professional experience, allowing students to launch their careers before graduation. Below are examples of co-op positions that have helped past students establish themselves in the business world.
OSSD with courses from the College (C), University (U),
University/College (M), or Open (O) stream WITH:
- Any Grade 12 English (C) or (U)
- Mathematics* ONE OF:
- Any Grade 12 Mathematics (C) or (U)
- Any Grade 11 Mathematics (C), (U), or (M)
(Note: a minimum final grade of 60 required for any Grade 11 Mathematics course)
OR
Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE)
OR
Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) AND:
- Mathematics* ONE OF:
- Any Grade 12 Mathematics (C) or (U)
- Any Grade 11 Mathematics (C), (U), or (M)

Mature Applicant with standing in the required courses and grade stated above
