This two-year accounting diploma equips graduates for entry-level or intermediate positions in accounting environments. The curriculum begins with foundational accounting knowledge before progressing to advanced principles, concepts, and computerized accounting systems. Upon completion, you'll possess the necessary skills to thrive in corporate accounting departments across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, retail, small business finance, banking, and financial services.
Career opportunities also extend to public accounting firms and government offices at federal, provincial, and municipal levels. This program serves as an excellent foundation for launching your accounting career.
Qualified graduates may transfer to the Business Administration - Accounting Advanced Diploma or Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) Degree programs. Offered in traditional classroom settings with multiple intake dates (September, January, February, May) or as a fully online asynchronous program, available both full-time and part-time. A co-operative education option is also offered.
