The six-year graduate training program in oral and maxillofacial surgery combines clinical education with academic study, culminating in both an MD and MSc degree. This collaborative initiative operates across multiple institutions, including the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, IWK-Grace Health Care Centre, and Dalhousie University. Student must have:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
- Degree granted by university of recognized standing
- Students must possess either a DDS or DMD and be eligible for student licensure in the Province of Nova Scotia.
English language requirement:

- CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
