The Faculty of Management provides one of Canada's rare compulsory commerce co-op programs, enabling you to acquire essential skills, obtain professional experience, and establish industry connections before launching your career—all while receiving compensation.
You can either specialize by selecting a major or tailor your degree to align with your professional aspirations. The curriculum covers core business areas including marketing, accounting, finance, management, and organizational behavior. Additionally, you'll develop crucial IT competencies by mastering spreadsheet tools, database systems, and analytical software for financial forecasting and market analysis.
Globally recognized for excellence, our Faculty of Management has earned AACSB International accreditation (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). This achievement positions Dalhousie among the elite business schools worldwide, meeting rigorous international standards.
Dalhousie houses one of Canada's select accredited commerce co-op programs. The Commerce Co-op program maintains CEWIL Canada (Co-operative Education and Work Integrated Learning) accreditation through December 2024, validating its robust cooperative education framework.
