Our History program goes beyond geographical boundaries. Instead of focusing on individual nations, we adopt a wider perspective to examine the larger regions they're part of. Our distinguished faculty, recognized for their excellence, collaborate across multiple university departments, enabling interdisciplinary exploration.
The curriculum covers diverse global eras, transcends national divisions, and integrates multiple academic fields. Students can explore transnational historical approaches or specialize in areas like medieval studies, British/European/Russian history, African/Middle Eastern studies, Atlantic World history, or American history.
Numerous courses are jointly offered with other university departments such as International Development Studies, Spanish and Latin American Studies, Gender and Women's Studies, European Studies, Law and Society, Canadian Studies, and others.
