Crandall's history degree program cultivates essential skills like formulating insightful questions, applying logical reasoning, and communicating with clarity and precision. This comprehensive major examines Western civilization's development while situating its growth within global historical contexts. Through engaging guest lectures, dynamic classroom debates, and rigorous academic readings, you'll deepen your knowledge of human civilization while exploring how faith intersects with diverse religions and historical/contemporary world affairs.

Crandall's history curriculum goes beyond rote memorization of facts - you'll investigate the underlying causes and broader implications of historical developments to understand their global significance. Consider spending a semester abroad at Oxford University, where you can walk through the actual locations of events studied in your courses.

Experience personalized learning in small class settings that foster meaningful interactions with faculty and peers through vibrant discussions. Examine various cultural perspectives while gaining fresh appreciation for Christian traditions.

Benefit from visiting scholars who periodically share their specialized viewpoints on significant world events during classroom sessions.

Opt to complete a credit-bearing internship, following in the footsteps of previous students who've gained experience at local museums and historical archives.

Participate in the History Society's social activities, including cookouts, educational excursions, and other events that connect you with fellow history enthusiasts.
