The Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Ontario Graduate Certificate program provides comprehensive training in language acquisition theory and practical English teaching methods through interactive classroom experiences. Alongside coursework, you'll gain hands-on experience with 50 hours of field placement, observing and teaching ESL classes under the supervision of a qualified instructor. After finishing Part 1, you'll be eligible to apply for the TESL Canada (Standard I) certification. Completing both parts qualifies you for TESL Canada (Standard II) and TESL Ontario certification. Flexible full-time and part-time study options are available to accommodate your schedule.
