This intensive two-year graduate certificate program provides comprehensive, specialized education in steel structure detailing, supply, fabrication, installation, and project management. Aligned with North American industry standards, the curriculum equips students with advanced drafting, analytical, and communication skills essential for the structural steel sector. Participants will master CAD techniques, Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction codes, specification development, and cost estimation to tackle complex projects. Instruction is delivered by industry-experienced faculty with up-to-date expertise. Students may choose a co-op option, featuring one work term in place of the Career Management course.

Minimum of a two-year diploma, advanced diploma or three-year degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, technology, or architecture
OR
A three- or four-year degree in another discipline with one or more courses in mathematics
