In today's multifaceted work settings, companies increasingly recognize that employee wellbeing and security are critical, making skilled occupational health and safety specialists indispensable. The Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness (OHSW) graduate program delivers specialized training to evaluate workplace risks and protect employee welfare. Beyond core principles, the curriculum covers leadership competencies needed to design, execute, and assess comprehensive workplace safety and wellness initiatives applicable to all industries. Participants will examine current trends, study proven methodologies, and apply these insights to create solutions for workplace health and safety challenges. This postgraduate certificate fulfills the educational prerequisites for the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) designation from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP), while extending beyond standard requirements with coursework in organizational performance, project leadership, disability management, and advisory techniques.
