The Software Engineering Technician program is a two-year curriculum designed to equip students with computer programming expertise and enhance their problem-solving abilities through multiple programming languages in a technical setting. This intensive, practical program covers a wide range of languages and technologies, including web development, database systems, and cybersecurity, making it one of Ontario's most comprehensive offerings in this field.
Conestoga's Software Engineering Technician program is ideal for individuals with substantial software industry experience but lacking formal qualifications, as well as those restricted to two-year diploma programs. Students pursuing software careers may alternatively explore the three-year Software Engineering Technology program for more extensive training.
