This two-year purchasing program equips graduates with the skills needed for a successful career in the expanding supply chain and logistics management sector. The curriculum focuses on total cost of ownership as its core concept. In today's global marketplace, companies face intense competition worldwide. The Business - Purchasing diploma program trains students to enhance cost efficiency, flexibility, and quality control within organizations, helping businesses maintain competitiveness and sustainable profits.
Graduates may receive advanced standing toward the Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) certification. The program also offers potential transfer credits that could exempt students from specific CSCMP graduate program requirements. Students who complete the optional Public Purchasing Course will fulfill the educational prerequisites for the NIGP's CPPB and CPPO certifications, administered by the UPPCC.
