The field of information technology constantly evolves. Today's computing landscape is dominated by mobile smartphones, wearables, and tablets. These compact, high-performance devices are increasingly replacing traditional computers like servers and desktops in our digital society.
To empower organizations in leveraging these compact computing solutions and addressing modern digital market needs, expertise in specialized software development is essential. This two-year Ontario College Diploma program equips students for software development careers, with particular emphasis on mobile and wearable platforms' unique requirements. The curriculum covers specialized frameworks, programming languages, and coding methodologies specific to mobile application development. Students will develop expertise across multiple platforms (tablets, smartphones, wearables), cloud technologies, infrastructure services, and contemporary software design approaches.
