This career-focused program equips you with essential skills for entering the precision machining trade or manufacturing industry, including apprenticeship opportunities through computer-integrated manufacturing training. The curriculum aligns with Ontario's Level 1 and 2 apprenticeship requirements, potentially exempting graduates from in-school training or exemption exams if pursuing a general machinist apprenticeship. Students can apply for the co-op option during their second term.
Available exclusively to Fall starters, the optional co-op track features two consecutive work terms, resulting in a modified academic schedule: Fall-Winter for Year 1 and Winter-Spring for Year 2. Note: Spring entrants follow an accelerated path (Spring, Fall, Winter-Spring) without co-op availability.
