Students completing Electronics, Computer, and Telecommunications Engineering Technician/Technology programs gain expertise in working with electronic devices, computing systems, and communication networks. These skilled professionals serve as technical specialists and creative problem-solvers. Alumni frequently highlight their satisfaction with the innovative nature of the work and witnessing project realization. All three programs share a common first-year curriculum, allowing students to transfer between specializations after initial studies. Computer Engineering Technology graduates develop capabilities to design, construct, evaluate, and maintain computer-based systems or components. Their comprehensive electronics training prepares them for diverse industrial positions. With robust hardware knowledge and mathematical proficiency, they effectively bridge digital systems with physical applications. Embedded processor technology enables them to streamline complex equipment (like automotive fuel injection and emission control systems), which our graduates help develop through computer system design and testing. Combining mathematical aptitude with teamwork abilities, they collaborate effectively on engineering projects. The balanced curriculum of laboratory practice and theoretical study provides exceptional hands-on experience with system implementation. An optional cooperative education track offers four sequential work terms.
