The Bachelor of Environmental Public Health (BEPH) is a forward-thinking four-year honors program (featuring one paid co-op term) designed to equip you for diverse careers as an environmental public health professional (EPHP) across public and private sectors. This CIPHI-accredited program emphasizes disease prevention and fostering healthy living environments. Environmental Public Health involves evaluating and managing environmental factors to prevent illness and enhance community wellbeing. The field covers organization, management, education, enforcement, consultation, and hazard identification across multiple areas including food safety, infection control, air quality, housing, water systems, waste management, and emergency preparedness. Through this program, you'll gain hands-on expertise in environmental health sciences, focusing on epidemiology, toxicology, and risk assessment.
