The Architecture - Project and Facility Management (APFM) program offers a distinctive interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates architectural principles, engineering, project management, facility operations, and business strategies to enhance building design and environmental development. This program adopts a comprehensive perspective on the built environment, addressing every stage of a building's lifespan—from initial planning and design to construction, occupancy, and adaptive reuse—while prioritizing the needs of owners, occupants, and ecological considerations. A key component throughout the four-year curriculum is developing teamwork management skills and proficiency in various communication methods, including written, oral, and visual presentations.
APFM graduates emerge with specialized expertise to oversee and facilitate decision-making throughout a building's lifecycle, gained through academic studies and cooperative education experiences. The degree cultivates professionals capable of making valuable contributions to organizations and the construction sector, engaging with diverse stakeholders across multiple project phases. This versatility equips graduates with broad, adaptable skills for their careers and prepares them for advanced studies in related disciplines.
