Students in International Business programs gain expertise in commerce from a worldwide viewpoint. Beyond exploring management, marketing, and financial systems across borders, the curriculum incorporates perspectives from specialists in political science, economic theory, and social sciences.
You'll develop global business acumen, learning to tailor corporate strategies for diverse work environments, navigate international taxation and banking regulations, comprehend trade conflict scenarios, and manage cultural considerations in worldwide advertising initiatives. The Co-op initiative provides hands-on experience in international trade. Through 12-16 week paid placements, you'll tackle the complexities of multicultural, multilingual markets while gaining insight into the legal aspects of global operations.

With John Molson School of Business students representing over 100 nations - including significant French-speaking populations and those with various mother tongues - you'll experience true international diversity. This program prepares you to operate in global markets, make principled choices across cultures, and effectively engage consumers from different backgrounds.
Applicants should have completed grade 12 and met the requirements for graduation in their home province or territory. A minimum average of 73% overall (75% for BC) and in grade 12 mathematics is required for admission to the BComm program. Grade 12 English must be completed. Ontario students must also complete 6 grade 12 U or M courses, including mathematics and English (or French if they attended a French school). Applicants from other countries must have the requirements equivalent to Canada.
English language requirements: Direct Admission: TOEFL (paper-based) score between 540 and 576. Conditional Admission: TOEFL (paper-based) score between 505 and 539; MELAB minimum score of 74, 2 on speaking tests; CAEL minimum score of 50; CAE minimum score of C; CPE (advanced qualification for proficient users only) minimum score of C.
